Robert Blaha is a nationally recognized expert in analyzing leadership and business processes to streamline organizations, cut costs, and increase productivity – and he intends on taking those skills where they are needed most: Washington, DC.

After a successful career in industry—holding key and senior management positions with four major corporations—Robert turned to startup businesses, directly creating jobs and opportunities. His most visible effort was co-founding Integrity Bank & Trust in Colorado Springs, where he currently serves as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors.

In 1993, after analyzing major initiative disconnects within organizations across the nation, Robert founded Colorado Springs-based Human Capital Associates. His success comes from listening, studying, and creating coalitions to benefit businesses and nonprofits of all sizes.

Born and raised in the farming community of Marshalltown, Iowa, Robert often accompanied his grandfather, a country doctor, on house calls. Here Robert learned the value of waking early and working until sundown, along with the pride that accompanies honest, hard work. His discipline in the classroom and on the football field led him to the University of Iowa, where he played football on a full athletic scholarship and earned the prestigious Forest Evashevski Scholar-Athlete Award.

Robert & Susan

Robert has been married to his college sweetheart Susan for thirty-eight years. For more than two decades, they have made Colorado their home, raising their family in Colorado Springs.

Robert, Susan, and their children have dedicated considerable time, energy and resources to community service in Colorado. During their time in Colorado Springs, Robert and Susan have actively participated in the school choice movement, and were a founding family at Monument Academy charter school. The couple’s children attended public school in District 20, all obtaining their undergraduate degrees from either the University of Colorado or Colorado State University. Robert has also served on charitable boards including Hope & Home, USA Boxing Board, and is a founding member of The Thorn Ministries. He has been active in faith-based groups as well as in his church, serving in many capacities from small group leader to Sunday School teacher to Trustee.

Robert Blaha is running to unseat Senator Michael Bennet in the November 8 general election.
